Public Notice for Sale of Property
The Town of Norwood requests offers to purchase the following property- 6.340 +or- acres of land located on Pee Dee Ave, referenced by Stanly County PIN 656401369398. A deposit in the amount of 5% must accompany any bids and must be in the form of cash or certified check. Bids must be received in Norwood Town Hall at 212 South Main Street/ PO Box 697, Norwood, NC 28128 prior to 12:00 noon on Friday, September 30, 2022. This will begin an upset bid process in accordance with NCGS 160A-269 and subject to readvertisement and additional upset bids.
The next regular Council Meeting will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
Certificate of Zoning Compliance Form (also known as Municipal Coordination Form) is required by the Stanly County Central Permitting office for any building permits in Norwood. These forms will need to be completed and a fee of $20 will need to be paid to the Town of Norwood upon submission. Michael Sandy, in planning and zoning, will sign off on these forms for approval.
