Tillery Recreation Flow

Tillery Recreation Flow Release Stakeholders:

Due to the recent heavy rainfall, Lake Tillery is currently experiencing high inflows from upstream hydro operations that will continue into this weekend. These high inflows will not allow for the operations required to provide the recreational flow release from the Tillery Hydro Station on Saturday, May 28.

In accordance with Section 7.3 High Inflow Events of the 2016 Recreation Flow Release Plan, Duke Energy proposes to reschedule the recreational flow release for Saturday, June 11.

If there are any stakeholder objections to this rescheduled date, please reply by 5pm, May 31.

This cancellation notice will be posted to the Duke Energy website.

If you have any questions, please feel free to Duke Energy by email or phone (828-506-3168).
