The public will take notice that council of the Town of Norwood has called a public hearing at 6:00 pm on April 4, 2022 at Norwood Town Hall, on the question of annexing the following described territory, requested by petition filed pursuant to G.S. 160A-31:

Request by Hartsell Funeral Home Inc., property located on Indian Mound Road; Norwood, NC (Stanly County PIN 656504638193) totaling 5.09 acres.

Request by Kevin Pressley, property located on Edgewater Drive; Norwood, NC (Stanly County PIN 657503046640 & 657503244470) totaling 46.61 acres.

Join us on Wednesday, August 25th as the Town of Norwood partners with March of Dimes to host a Pop-Up Baby Shower at Town Hall. March of Dimes fights for the health of all moms and babies and believes that every baby deserves the best possible start. March of Dimes is building a legacy to level the playing field for all moms and babies, no matter their age, socio-economic background or demographics. Their organization advocates for policies that prioritize their health, supports radical improvements to the care they receive and pioneer research to find solutions to the biggest health threats to moms and babies.
