Norwood Arbor Day Festival is happy to announce that The Tonez will be the Friday night headliner band providing musical entertainment during this year’s 2017 Arbor Day Festival. Bradley Swaringen announced today during a press release that Tonez is the result of a reconfigured Swashtones, a band in which he was a founding member. Swaringen remarked, “We are glad to welcome new members Jason Barker, Michael Murphy, and Ken Davis to make this new change incredible. These Horn extraordinaires along with our backbone makes one incredible mix of talent you will not want to miss.” Norwood Town Administrator John Mullis stated, “We consider Bradley Swaringen our Norwood native son and we keep up with his endeavors. We don’t think it will be too much longer until The Tonez become a mainstream airplay on beach radio and club play. In fact, their new radio hit will hit the airways on Monday. We are excited that they will be providing our Friday night headline musical act.”
Norwood Arbor Day Festival will begin Thursday night April 27th with gospel singing. It will continue Friday night with evening events culminating with musical entertainment by The Tonez and all day Saturday events culminating with chart topping and song-of-the-year band Blackwater Rhythm and Blues.
